Study ways to control and prevent dental disease as well as teach patients preventive dental care. Training to expose and process dental x-rays as well as perform chair-side skills and state-expanded functions is covered. Students are prepared to take state and national written examinations required for registration and certification as dental assistants.
A Registered Certified Dental Assistant becomes a member of the dental team and finds employment in all types of dental offices.
