The Academy serves our communities by enhancing dentists' professional skills and knowledge, while serving needy people world wide, all within a gospel environment. The Academy of LDS Dentists' annual conference, held each summer in Utah, combines religion and dentistry in brief, informative presentations on a variety of healthcare, business, and spiritual topics by renowned educators and practitioners.

The conference has a different format in continuing dental education. Members attend a brief morning program where the speakers give the essence of their subject, followed by an in depth program where the presenters are held to a time limit of a couple of hours ensuring seminars are brief, yet informative. The conference is also offered at a lower cost than any other professional seminars in the world today.
