In the past five years, Augustana has had an acceptance rate into dental schools of 75%. During the second year of study, students participate in clinical observation hours, which will familiarize them with dental practices and techniques.

Additionally, Augustana has affiliations with the Dentistry graduate programs at both Southern Illinois University and the University of Iowa. Through this unique opportunity, students can apply for early admissions after only one year of undergraduate work. After acceptance, students study for three years at Augustana and receive a B.A. degree after their first year of study in the graduate program.
