In its earliest years, Raintree Essix introduced Air Rotor Stripping (ARS) tools developed by Dr. Jack Sheridan, DDS, MSD, a pain-free way of removing enamel to resolve moderate crowding, while eliminating the problem of excess space associated with extractions or the vexation of coordinating expanded arches. The company soon added implementation products, including stripping burs, interproximal reduction gauges and ARS Space Measuring Gauges, as well as training and support to ensure the effective application of these new methods.
Raintree Essix has since introduced tools that allow doctors to use plastic appliances for relapse cases, minor tooth movement, beautiful temporary bridges for congenitally missing teeth, bleaching trays, night guards, bite splints, and many other applications.
