Company Information:: Dentistry and the needs of the dental practitioner have changed greatly over the last 40 years. Our family has owned and operated Becker-Parkin Dental since 1973. In the 1970’s, dental offices were smaller.

Telemarketing, catalogs, computers and the internet had not yet permeated our industry. Business was usually transacted face-to-face, leisurely over a cup of coffee in the doctor’s private office. Price and delivery time never entered the conversation due to the fact that most doctors purchased locally and catalogs for price comparison did not exist.

Today, operating a dental practice has become more complicated. Offices with 6 or more operatories are now the norm and not the exception. The successful practitioner needs to find a balance between providing quality care and his profit and loss statement. The dental supply and equipment company is required to fill an order with no backorders; have the product arrive to the dentist in 1 or 2 days; have highly knowledgeable sales representatives; have highly trained service technicians and provide all this at prices not much higher then they were 10 years ago.
