ABOUT DENTAL POWER
In 1975, if a key dental staff member was unexpectedly out of the office, the dental practice had little choice but to cancel patients for the day or temporarily lower their standard of care. Well known employment agencies did not service the dental industry because they did not understand the specific technical needs or skills involved in providing dental care.
While working in a progressive dental office, our founder Meryl Samii recognized the need for a specialized staffing service to address the needs of the dental community. With the support and cooperative efforts of her family and the dentist she worked for, she created Dental Power. By the end of 1975, the company was providing temporary replacement personnel and permanent placements of skilled dental professionals to practices around the Washington, DC region.
Today, Dental Power is a nationally recognized dental placement service with multiple offices throughout the United States and the following two specialized divisions:
Our Dental Power Staffing division is a network of local staffing offices focused on placing hygienists, dental assistants, office managers, front office personnel, and other dental pros into dental offices and facilities for temporary assignments and permanent hires.
Dentist Placement Advantage (DPA) is our expert division for dentist placements nationwide. Operated by seasoned and accomplished dentists, DPA works with dental practices and dentists on associate placements, partnership and purchase opportunities, as well as locum tenens assignments.
Throughout our more than 30 year history, thousands of dental practices have placed their trust in us to send them outstanding dental talent to help keep their practices productive and running smoothly.
