Job Description
We are currently in need of qualified dental assistants. The dental assistant will provide assistance to the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients, which include greeting, seating, dismissing patients with information and contacting patients. Responsible for passing hand instruments, preparing restorative materials, exposing and processing radiographs, maintaining dental equipment, carrying out infection control, sterilization, and waste management activities, including ensuring the availability and use of protective wear. The DA is also responsible to make sure that operatory is ready, stocked and clean prior to each appointment and to discard all disposable items after each visit. Will prepare charts for patient visits and complete dental charting in all patient files. Must demonstrate excellent customer service at all times showing care and concern for all patients. Must have previous dental assisting experience and or completed a one year dental assistant course.
