Brontes Technologies is commercializing a patented, leading-edge imaging technology for oral care applications. Individuals joining our group will contribute to the development of a completely unique 3-D imaging system designed to transform the way dental impressions and subsequent workflow are currently done. The company is led by experienced entrepreneurs and imaging experts. Brontes was acquired in October 2006 and is now a 3M Company.
The Position: We offer a unique opportunity for a dental professional to be involved in the process of testing our product and helping us validate our marketing claims. The Dental Assistant will work at our in house operatory located at the Brontes location in Lexington Massachusetts. The Dental Assistant will assist the Dentists with all things related to the treatment/procedures we will be providing.
The Dental Assistant is a vital member of the clinical team. As a dental assistant, you will enjoy a broad range of exciting and challenging duties. The main duties will include:
Responsibilities: •Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
•Collecting and recording patient health histories
•Patient management during dental procedures
•Prevention and management of dental medical emergencies
•Inventory control and management
•Take dental x-rays
•Managing the dental office infection control plan to meet OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards
•Instrument cleaning, sterilization/disinfection, and re-circulation
•Dental treatment room disinfection
•Appointment scheduling and confirmation
•Patient records Management
•Business records Management
•Gain expertise using the system – become an “in-house expert”
•Give product demonstrations to a variety of different audiences
•Contribute dental expertise to the development of product use protocols
•Help train participating dentists and their auxiliary on the C.O.S
Requirements
Qualifications
•Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), or accredited certification equivalent
•3-5+ years of clinical experience
•Must be able to speak knowledgably about other dental products and procedures in the Dental market
•Must be comfortable with computers and technology
•Self motivated with excellent time management skills
•Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

•Highest personal and professional integrity
•Exceptional drive, creative energy, and outstanding people skills
•Previous Dental Assisting experience required
•High level of personal proficiency in office desktop applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) as well as internet research and email
Compensation/ Advancement
Compensation for this position will be competitive for the industry.
