Job Description
Job Summary: The Dentist is primarily responsible for examining and treating diseases and injuries of teeth and gums. This includes, but not limited to, performing preventative, restorative, endodontic and maintenance dentistry and educates the patient in proper tooth and gum care; at a community health center. Required Education/Required Training: Licensed or eligibility as a Dentist in DC, a DC Controlled Substance Number, and a Federal DEA Number, Dispensing certificate, CPR certification and other applicable statuses which addresses the provision of medical and medically related services in DC. All Licenses held must be current and retained in good standing. Required Experience: Minimum 2- 4 years of experience. Experience working with underserved or homeless populations preferred. * For correctional position-correctional experience- preferred but not required.
