Job Description
Job Description Performs basic to complex dental appliance production work in the Removable Department.
Primary job duties will be to Set-up teeth for Flippers, Treatment Partials, Cast Frame Partials, Acetal Resin partials, Full Dentures. Have the ability to perform all duties associated with the production of appliances within the Removable Department to include same day Relines and Repairs. Fabricate Implant, locator, ball and other attachment cases as needed. Improvise with special and unique cases. Possess the ability to learn to fabricate Acetal Resin partials. Ability to train co-workers as needed to perform simple to complicated procedures fabricating appliances in the Removable department.
Job Requirements Minimum of six years of experience fabricating removable appliances plus dental technology trade school, or equivalent, preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting lab prescriptions and apply to fabrication of dental appliances. Requires excellent manual dexterity and ability to pay close attention to minute detail. Requires focused, fine-detailed work in sitting position for long periods and tolerate exposure to occasional low-concentration chemical fumes. Above average communication skills and ability to work in a team enviornment.
